Maylee Vazquez

As first-generation college student, I understand the value in seeing the potential in all students. My education is the foundation of my success, however, the support I received from my family and educators alike became the fuel to obtaining it. Now as a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program with a specialization in school counseling, and student affairs and college counseling, I plan to pay it forward by educating and motivating new counselors to advocate for equity in education.
